TEFL CERTIFICATE COURSE IN FLORENCE, ITALY

Getting Here

The Florence Via Lingua center does not provide airport pick up due to the close proximity of the airport to the center of the city (4 km).

If you are flying into the main airport, Amerigo Vespucci (more commonly referred to as Peretola) you can take a taxi to your accommodations (approximately 15 minutes). Don’t forget to ask your driver for a receipt and bring it with you on the first day of class. We will be more than happy to reimburse you for it. There is also a shuttle bus service running from the airport and takes approximately 20 minutes from the airport to the center of the city.

If you are flying into the Pisa airport (Galileo Galilei) you can take the Volinbus airport shuttle to downtown Florence or the airport train directly from the airport to the Florence train station.

Florence is situated on the Milan Rome line, with frequent and rapid connections both ways depending on which airport you fly into.
